When you use Thrive (the Ministry Learning Management System), we collect personal information from you, this includes your:

• name
• contact information
• location
• Ministry Username
• course completion information

You can choose to set up a Thrive profile and provide additional information but this is not mandatory.

Privacy Statement

We collect the personal information above in order to synchronise your details into Thrive so that any learning you complete in Thrive can be registered and placed on your learning record. Please note that your manager will have access to your learning record.

We share this information with administrative staff at Catalyst (Thrive provider) in order to allow them to provide technical support for Thrive. We keep your information safe by having secure encryption across the synchronisation process, having a strong and secure password protocol on Thrive, and only allowing the Thrive Administrators and other relevant Ministry staff access to the information.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, contact us at Thrive@Justice.govt.nz.
